Switched gears yesterday to play some Lost Planet: Colonies. I’m in a bit of a rush, as it’s the Games for Windows Live PC version. I got it crazy cheap on Steam during a Capcom sale and only later realized it might be bricked by the summer. It’s been said that Capcom is patching GFWL out, but they are being ominously quiet about it. At time of writing, it’s still in there.

I’m having a good time with Lost Planet, mostly. The gameplay is pretty fun, especially when I get my hands on a robot, but the cutscenes are not doing the game any favors. I haven’t skipped any of them, but I have no idea what’s going on, what our objective is, or who’s on whose side. I guess I’ll do what my in-game dad said because reasons.
