Woo, I’m doing it for realsies! After three years of posting content to a Weebly site to which I’m pretty sure no one ever browsed, I’m setting up a proper website for my crappy opinions. If you are, by some miracle, a reader who has managed to find both blogs, you may notice a slight rebranding. The full title of the first blog is All These Games, No Time to Play, which is a bit too long to be a URL. For brevity, the Weebly site is hosted at notimetoplayblog.weebly.com. I had to add “blog” to the address because someone had already claimed “notimetoplay”. And wouldn’t you know it, the same thing happened when trying to register an official domain name. Through a bit of digging, I found that notimetoplay.com is purchasable from some web-squatter who thinks $2,500 is a fair price for an empty website. Even if I had it, I’m not about to spend that kind of money on a URL that may not see any activity no matter how often I update. However, I could get a similar domain name for a reasonable price.

After much deliberation, I decided that Never Time to Play holds true to my original theme just fine. And bonus: it’s shorter, making it easier to remember. One purchase of a web-hosting plan later, I’m rocking my very own web domain. But I guess you already know that, given that you found this update. As I’m determined to take this seriously, I’ll be posting more frequently than usual while also moving my older content to this site. I hope you’ll stick around and get a little enjoyment out of it. At the very least, you can chuckle at my hubris. Here’s to spending $40 to ramble at no one on the Internet!
